I light up when I talk about comics.

Hi, my name is Matt Haberbusch (he/him), and I’m a cartoonist and full-time engineer located in Cleveland, Ohio.

My focus is creating situations where people draw and make comics, and I’m most interested in people who want to take drawing back from a system that says we either have to draw professionally or not at all. I love the versatility of the short story comic and the flexibility of the self-published minicomic! I also love leading group comics making activities. I co-organize a comics making group for adults in Cleveland called Comics in the Circle, which has been meeting regularly since fall 2020.
